Tsunami - Sometimes a Notion

I associate this song with staying up late to listen to John Peel in 1993 as a young teenager, and jumping about my bedroom to Bikini Kill.

Tsuinami were led by the excellent Jenny Toomey, in fine voice here. She and Kristen ran their own label, Simple Machines. They were pre riot grrrl in that they'd been involved with Positive Force so had gone through some of the same issues and activism with that. They were supportive though.
